Linda's skills are nationally recognized.  Linda is a regular panelist, facilitator and speaker for the National Federation of Paralegal Association (NFPA) and Oregon Paralegal Association (OPA), where she focuses on paralegal certification, paralegals in our Armed Forces, and the new paralegal licensure programs sprouting up across the U.S.  For more than six years that work has included working with the JAG’s legal offices with the Air Forces, the Army, the Navy, and the Marines, as well as the Judge Advocate General’s Association of Paraprofessionals assisting military paralegals travel the path to paralegal certification in the civilian world for their postmilitary careers.

Experience

For the last fifteen years, Linda has worked as a paralegal on complex litigation matters, developing an expertise in civil litigation in state and federal courts, administrative rules, and document production and management. Currently the lead paralegal and office administrator with the Rosen Law Firm focusing on aviation law and product liability. Prior to her current position, Linda was a senior paralegal with the law firm of Dunn Carney LLP, where she focused on real property, land use, public records and public meetings. Before that role, Linda was the paralegal to the City Attorney for Tualatin. Linda is also a member of the Adjunct Faculty for the paralegal program at Portland Community College and volunteers as the Chair of the Admissions and Education Workgroup for the Oregon State Bar's Paraprofessional Licensing Implementation Committee.

Her husband, Dan, is serving his twenty-second year in the Navy Reserves and her father served in the Army during the Korean War. Her heart is assist servicemembers, regardless of branch, rank or length of service.
